QMA has added the following Centers to enhance our services to our patients:
- The Center for Nutrition – Jack Pasquale, M.D. Physician Nutritionist has joined QMA to provide Nutrition and Diet Counseling for QMA patients. He is available for patient consultation on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
- The Center for Genetic Counseling – Brenda Zak, M.S. Genetic Councilor is available on the first Monday of each month to consult with QMA Patients.
- The Center for Interventional Pain Management – Ji Han, M.D. an Anesthesiologist who is fellowship trained in Pain Management at Weil Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial Sloan Kettering joined QMA in July of 2007. • Avram Abramowitz, M.D. has recently joined QMA. Dr. Abramowitz has practiced Hematology and Oncology in Queens and Manhattan for the past 15 years. He is seeing patients at QMA’s main office on Union Turnpike, in Jackson Heights at 90-33 Elmhurst Ave and in Manhattan at 210 East 86th Street.
• QMA welcomes Leonard P. James, M.D., PhD, who joins us on July 28, 2008 after completing his Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He will see patients at our main office.
• We are undergoing an expansion that will improve our ability to serve our patients and provide an additional 25 seats in our waiting room, expanded patient examination suites and increased clinical office space for physicians and physician assistants. This expansion will be completed during the summer and will bring QMA up to 18,500 square feet. |
