Welcome to Queens Medical Associates (QMA), a comprehensive outpatient cancer care facility specializing in the care of patients with Hematology and Oncology diseases. We are currently the largest stand-alone Hematology and Oncology group practice in the borough of Queens and our physicians and clinical staff at Queens Medical Associates bring decades of experience in Hematology and Oncology clinical care and associated Clinical Research to our patients.
Our Clinical Staff includes:
- six physicians exceptionally well trained and credentialed in both Hematology and Oncology
- a team of six (6) Certified Physician Assistants
- an efficient and well trained staff of Medical Assistants
- a Chemotherapy Treatment and Infusion Center staffed at all times with four (4) Oncology Certified Nurses and four (4) highly trained Nursing Assistants
- an on-site, experienced Clinical Research team
- an In-House Pharmacy staffed with a Pharm. D., a Registered Pharmacist and a Pharm Tech.
- an on-site Laboratory with Technicians and Phlebotomists
- a Physician Nutritionist to address the nutritional and diet related issues frequently associated with Oncology disease and
- a Genetic Counselor

QMA has made state of the art cancer care accessible in various communities of Queens (Fresh Meadows, Rego Park, Flushing, Astoria, and Jackson Heights) and Manhattan. We also accept most health insurances including Medicaid and Medicare.
The primary goal of our practice is to administer chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments in a safe, comfortable and highly professional environment. We focus on treating our patients and their families with exceptional care and dignity providing the personalized and individualized attention that people with a serious disease require and deserve. We have licensed and certified professionals who will provide individualized education regarding the patient’s treatment, the anticipated effects of the treatment and methods to greatly reduce or eliminate the side effects of their particular chemotherapy regimen.
Queens Medical Associates is uniquely positioned to serve a culturally diverse patient population. Our physicians, clinical and administrative support staff are fluent in many languages including Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, French and others. Our patient education literature, patient satisfaction surveys and other written material are also available in all of our major languages. This has fostered an excellent relationship between our staff and patients allowing us to provide quality, personalized medical care to people of all cultures and nationalities.
